Description

The course is intended to introduce students to the fundamental concepts and processes of drug discovery especially how structural differences may result in different physiochemical or pharmacological effects. The students can then apply their learning to: designing new analogues with a better safety and/or therapeutic profile and to critically analyze new pharmaceutical agents.

Prerequisite(s)

PHAR 201.5 and registration in second year pharmacy
