Description

An overview of the main historical and contemporary legal and policy developments affecting Aboriginal people and their interests in Canada, and examination of the relationship between law and policy in this area. Following a review of the Constitutional and historical background, the emphasis will be on developments since the second half of the 20th century. We will look at law and policy in other jurisdictions, such as New Zealand and the USA.
