This course will examine the evolutionary origin, structure-function and ecological relationships of animals, with an emphasis on the major invertebrate groups.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 120 and one of BIOL 121 or GEOL 122

PBIO 488.3: Palaeobiology Research

A field or laboratory research project conducted under the supervision of a faculty member. A written report will be submitted to the supervisor in the form of an honours thesis. The student will then present to an examining committee an oral account of the research.

Permission of the Chair of the Palaeobiology Administrative Committee is required.
Prerequisite(s): Open to Palaeobiology students, normally in their fourth year of studies.
