Description

A comparative exploration of the history of Canada, the United States, and Latin America from Pre-Columbian societies to the present, focusing on ethnic and class conflict, gender roles, slavery, the role of religion and the struggle for democracy.

Students with credit for INTS 101.12 may not take this course for credit.

Attention

A maximum of nine credit units of 100-level HIST may be taken for credit. Only six of these credit units may count toward a History major or minor. The remaining three credit units will count as a junior elective in Requirement 7.
