This is a hands-on graduate level course in the application of x-ray fluorescence and absorption spectroscopic techniques to study soil chemical processes. Students will design a synchrotron-based speciation experiment to take place at the Canadian Light Source, analyze their results, and present their findings. B>Prerequisite(s)Enrolment in Soil Science graduate program or permission of the instructor.
